Valdecir Marchi and his wife Maria de Lourdes faced significant challenges to preserve the art of artisanal production of this very special cheese. In 2017, with the support of a project financed by the Banco do Brasil Foundation and Epagri, they built a cheese house that regularized production, guaranteeing the artisanal quality that is their trademark.

Located on Estrada Geral Barra Negra, Sítio Quiqueo Marchi opens its doors and invites visitors to learn more about the production process of Queijo Diamante. Made with raw milk after milking and following a family recipe that bears the surname of the patriarchs Marchi and Quiqueo, each cheese is a masterpiece with a striking flavor and characteristic texture.
